Denise Silverman, certified wedding consultant, launched Soirée in 2002 because she wanted to help couples create weddings that truly represented their personal styles. After her own wedding in 2000, she realized that it can sometimes be difficult to convince people of your vision if it doesn't fall into the categories of "normal" or "traditional". Denise wants to help people transform their visions into reality with an impact that will leave your guests impressed for life. We've done a good job if your single friends now want a wedding like yours, and your married friends wish they could turn back time and have their wedding all over again.

Denise was born and raised in New York and moved to Austin in 2001. "I love New York-always will-but I was ready for a change. Austin is the perfect environment for my husband and me. It has the perfect combination of culture and nature... not to mention good food, great music and amazingly unique people!"

Denise spent 10 years in NYC's fast-paced world of marketing and public relations, during which she gained expertise in the areas of project management, client service and event planning. After planning her own "outside the box" wedding, she realized how fulfilling it would be to help others plan events - from the eccentric to the classically sublime.

Denise graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1993 and is a member of Austin Wedding and Event Coordinators (AWEC).

Denise lives in Central Austin with her husband, Mike, her son Jesse, and her dog and two cats.

Claire Kelly, certified wedding consultant, joined Soirée in 2004. She said she knew she wanted to work for Soirée when she saw the Soirée Web site and declared - "That's me!"
Claire quickly fit right into the Soirée team. Her contemporary style, creative mind and "leave no stone unturned" attitude make for a fabulous wedding consultant! With Soirée's heavy focus on client service and satisfaction, Claire fits right in. She has an affinity for making her clients feel relaxed and reassured.

Combining creativity, detailed planning, and client service is not new to Claire. Her background includes more than six years of corporate event planning at Vignette Corporation. In that role, Claire executed programs such as client user groups, customer/prospect multi-city seminars, networking events (including professional sports suites and executive level golf tournaments).

Claire was looking to leverage that high profile corporate experience, but wanted to do something more personal and decided that wedding coordination was the direction she wanted to take. After completing her certification, Claire has been an invaluable asset to Soirée, and to her many clients.

Claire graduated from Texas State in 2000 and is a member of Austin Wedding & Event Coordinators (AWEC).

Claire grew up in Corpus Christi and has lived in Austin since 1992. She currently lives in South Austin with her husband, Patrick, sons, Rich, and Tanner and her dog, Gretta Bear.

Aimee Capra , certified wedding consultant, joined Soirée in 2006. Aimee’s ambitious nature, innate attention to detail, and passion for client service make her a perfect fit for the Soirée team. She has quickly shown herself invaluable to Soirée and to her many clients.

After planning her own wedding and naturally falling into the event coordinating role to help many friends and colleagues, Aimee found the perfect way to combine her project management and communications skills with something more creative and personal.

Aimee began her career in high-tech advertising and then as production manager at a nationwide political advertising agency. In this role, she negotiated vendor pricing, oversaw the distribution of hundreds of projects in accelerated timelines, and developed streamlined communications processes - all while keeping her co-workers and clients happy with her upbeat, friendly personality and energetic work ethic.

After growing up in Houston, attending boarding school in St.Louis and living in California for a year, Aimee decided to make Austin her home. She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1998 and is a member of Austin Wedding and Event Coordinators (AWEC).

Aimee lives in North Austin with her husband, Andrés, and their two trail running dogs, Sunday and Roscoe.

N'Yoka Coleman, Event Planner, joined Soirée in 2007. N'Yoka's unique sense of style, amazing foresight and strong relationship skills make her a tremendous asset to Soirée.

N'Yoka is no stranger to event planning. She spent more than 10 years in the volatile Washington DC area as an event planner for non profit organizations, federal government agencies and large corporations. In her work, she identified solutions for last minute issues, mastered project management and budget oversight. After several years of planning social events for family and friends and her own fireman-inspired wedding, she joined the Soirée team.

A native New Yorker, N'Yoka also spent time in North Carolina, Virginia and the Washington DC metropolitan area. Upon several visits to Austin to see relatives, she and her husband realized how delightfully weird Austin is. They made Austin their home in 2006.

N'Yoka graduated from Hampton University in 1993 and is a member of Austin Wedding & Event Coordinators.

She lives in Northwest Austin with her husband Ralph and two children Olivia and Miles.
